This September 30th marked the 10th Anniversary of The Carrboro Music Festival. Our day long, free festival features music at various indoor and outdoor venues. The outdoor sites present music until dark, while some of the indoor venues go until midnight. The 2007 event presented a myriad of musical styles (at 22 venues) with 160 different musical aggregations- ranging in size from solo artists to a seven piece World Music band. The 2008 Carrboro Music Festival will be held on Sunday, September 28 at various venues throughout Carrboro, NC.

volunteered their time and energy over the past 10 years. Our festival
would not exist without them. The Carrboro Music Festival will also be seeking volunteers for the 2008 festival and the applications will be on the website in the spring. Volunteers are needed to help with various task pertaining to the event. A description of the various volunteer opportunties and duties will be on the volunteer page. Volunteers will qualify for service learning hours and all volunteers recieve a Carrboro Music Festival t-shirt and a free raffle ticket. |

| MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF - PARK AND RIDE There will be a free shuttle bus from noon until 8 pm from the rear lot behind Carrboro Plaza (Old Fayetteville Road entrance) through Carrboro and back - stopping at all the standard stops. The CMF raffle features something for everyone. Raffle tickets are available at the information tables at Carrboro Town Hall, The Century Center, Weaver St. Market and the ArtsCenter. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Those tables also also sell our special 2007- 10th Anniversary Carrboro Music Festival T-shirts.
