This event is part of a monthly continuing education series run by the Art Therapy Institute. Presented by: Uli Schempp, MA, LPC, ATR-BC This workshop will begin with a short video presentation to introduce the range of creative arts therapy modalities followed by a discussion of challenges in conducting groups with clients from a wide variety of cultural and social backgrounds as well as the whole range of psychiatric diagnoses. An examination of artwork related to specific diagnoses will conclude this workshop. *** ATI is an NBCC provider, and continuing education credits are available for mental health professionals for a small fee. All ticket fees are used to pay for NBCC membership dues, presenter fees, art materials, and ATI mental health programming for local underserved and uninsured populations.
