The following is an update from the Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department.
Due to the current public health situation related to coronavirus/COVID-19, and recommendations provided by various agencies, all department programs, events, reservations, and meetings have been canceled until further notice. Additionally, the following special events have been canceled:
Carrboro Kite Fly
Carrboro Community Egg Hunt
Flashlight Egg Hunt
Carrboro Open Streets
Carrboro Day
Carrboro Bazaar
CD & Record Show
At this time, all Town of Carrboro park facilities are closed until further notice. The Orange County Cybrary is also closed until further notice. We kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation as we implement these social distancing measures. While the Century Center is closed, our administrative offices are open.
The Town will continue to work with other local agencies and monitor the situation and we will provide updates as they occur.
