The Carrboro Police Department responded to a shooting at 11:51 p.m. Friday, September 16, at the parking deck located at 370 E. Main St.
Investigation revealed that two groups of people were engaged in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation and shots being fired. Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident. Both injuries were not from the shots fired. The shooter is described as a heavyset Asian male. This case is being actively investigated and further updates will be provided as appropriate.
