[ARCHIVED] Halloween Carnival & Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest

Halloween Carnival

Please join us for our Annual Halloween Carnival on Friday, October 27th from 6:00pm-8:30pm at Carrboro Town Commons (location of the Farmer's Market).  Come enjoy the night and experience the great carnival games and programs for all ages.  We boast a host of carnival-style activities that reward your participation with wickedly good prizes.  Popcorn, sodas, hot chocolate, apple cider, and coffee will be sold at our concession booth.  The event is free and no pre-registration is required.

In conjunction with the Halloween Carnival, we are also hosting a Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest.  Carve, paint, or decorate your own pumpkin and then bring it to Carrboro Town Commons on Friday, October 27th between 9:30am-3:00pm.  Pumpkins will be displayed that night at the Carnival.  Citizens will have a chance to vote from 6:00pm-8:00pm on which pumpkin they like best.  The winner will be announced and presented a gift card at 8:15pm.  All entries must be received by 3:00pm.  Please note: No pumpkins with obscene, political, or religious statements will be allowed.

We hope to see you there!
